Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects. In this role, you will manage cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards. You will work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to drive technology initiatives and address any challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives
- Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines for IT projects, and ensure alignment with overall business strategy
- Coordinate and collaborate with IT teams, software developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and take proactive steps to mitigate them
- Communicate project progress, status updates, and risks to stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Monitor and manage IT project documentation, ensuring all technical specifications, requirements, and reports are up to date
- Ensure that IT projects meet required quality standards, security protocols, and technical specifications
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices for future projects
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven ability to manage complex technology projects
- Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project)
- Experience managing cross-functional IT teams, including software development, infrastructure, and network teams
- Ability to work closely with technical teams to understand and address IT challenges and deliver solutions
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and communicate technical information clearly
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience identifying and addressing IT project risks and issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Nice to Have:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP)
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and enterprise systems
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks
- Experience with tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or Confluence
