Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, Vue.js, and AWS to build and maintain the backend systems that support our web applications. In this role, you will collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure solutions. You will also work with AWS to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js and Vue.js
- Design and implement database schemas and optimize queries for performance
- Integrate backend systems with frontend components to deliver seamless user experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions for new features and functionality
- Work with AWS to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that adheres to best practices
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including performance bottlenecks and scaling challenges
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the team
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js and Vue.js
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS
- Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with modern development practices and version control (Git)
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus
- Strong understanding of security best practices for backend development
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Cognito
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) or full-stack development
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
